With Wayne on furlough and Jessica shielding due to the pandemic, they sought a new sense of purpose. As avid travellers who had explored over 30 countries worldwide, they decided to channel their passion for travel into their YouTube venture.

Initially, ‘Holiday With The Heathers’ showcased Jessica and Wayne's travel adventures, establishing them as travel content creators. However, with travel restrictions in place, they adapted their content to focus on their daily lives during lockdown, raising awareness about rare health conditions and invisible illnesses.
Wayne, the talent behind the camera, captures vital information about destinations for their audience while working full-time as an HGV driver for Gate Gourmet, a leading provider of air services.

Jessica has honed her editing skills by learning from other content creators on YouTube. She is currently in her third year at the Open University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Open Degree with a focus in Creative Writing. Jessica balances her time between creating content for 'Holiday With The Heathers' and as a freelance travel writer with commissions for Navigate Magazine, Explorers Magazine and Adventure.com.
