With Wayne on furlough and Jessica shielding due to the pandemic, they sought a new sense of purpose. As avid travellers who had explored over 30 countries worldwide, they decided to channel their passion for travel into their YouTube venture.

Initially, ‘Holiday With The Heathers’ showcased Jessica and Wayne's travel adventures, establishing them as travel content creators. However, with travel restrictions in place, they adapted their content to focus on their daily lives during lockdown, raising awareness about rare health conditions and invisible illnesses.
Wayne, the talent behind the camera, captures vital information about destinations for their audience while working full-time as an HGV driver for Gate Gourmet, a leading provider of air services.

Jessica, the editor-in-chief, has honed her editing skills by learning from other content creators on YouTube. She is currently in her third year at the Open University, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Design and Innovation with a concentration in Creative Writing. Jessica balances her time between creating content for 'Holiday With The Heathers', freelance travel writing, videography, and serving as a dedicated disability advocate. Her efforts have earned her a nomination and shortlist for the Shaw Trust Disability Power 100.

They have already booked cruises and international trips for 2024 and 2025, promising fresh and exciting travel experiences to inspire their dedicated and loyal audience.
